Algotive, a North American software firm with a subsidiary in Mexico, launched last year the first autonomous artificial intelligence software for public safety, vehicleDRX. This application allows state or local police command centers (C5) to identify, track, and follow any vehicle of interest more agile, effective, and low-cost.
Finding and tracking a vehicle of interest hasn't changed in years. Officers manually monitor cameras in command centers to locate the target through dozens of tiny screens. vehicleDRX speeds up and makes this process more effective, finding and following the mark in question based on basic information without further human intervention. Its system does not seek to replace people but to be a collaborator to give better results.
This application processes and analyzes information at the pixel level from the transmission and video file. In addition, it can explore video records from up to 30 days ago, optimize the search, and find the vehicle of interest in real-time, notifying officers in the field to take action according to the case.
Autonomous artificial intelligence, a technology patented by the company in 2020 and it is the core of vehicleDRX, it can interpret and act on a large amount of data. This allows your video surveillance network to make and exercise decisions on interconnected systems, achieve pre-established goals, and take their current capacities to another level.
Currently, the company is working on new autonomous AI solutions for the financial, commercial, and industrial sectors.
