Pulice’s appointment as Head of AI Technologies is effective today.
HOUSTON, Texas — Algotive today announced that Chiara Pulice, a peer-reviewed author, researcher, and machine learning expert, has been named to the company’s executive team as Head of AI Technologies. Pulice will play a leading role in fulfilling Algotive’s mission of creating the world’s first autonomous artificial intelligence platforms worldwide. She reports to Pablo Castillon, Algotive’s chief executive officer.

Before joining Algotive, Pulice was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science at Dartmouth College for several years. During her tenure, she studied and developed new machine learning techniques for predicting lethality, change of relationships, and fissures within terrorist groups. She’s responsible for creating various web applications that allow analysts to forecast terrorist group behaviors. Pulice was also a Post-Doctoral Researcher at UMIACS, at the University of Maryland, and a Post-Doctoral Researcher at DIMES, at the University of Calabria. Earlier, she co-founded Corenumiti SRL, a startup that created apps to solve computing-intensive problems, awarded with the Seal of Excellence by the European Community.
Pulice is a Ph.D. in Computer and Systems Engineering and an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Calabria in Rende, Italy. She is a co-author of numerous published papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
